Hi! Just call me Sara (Ennis for thrillers, Isabelle for cozies, and Henderson for everything else).

I'm a storyteller with a knack for turning ideas into impactful content. I've worn many hats in my career –  from corporate marketer to startup CEO to novelist – but one of my favorite ways to spend a day (or two, or ten) is to help small businesses and nonprofits like yours shine. 


As a recovering CEO and a past and current board member for various nonprofits, I understand the unique challenges that come with these jobs. I bring insider knowledge, coupled with my business savvy, to every project.


Think of me as your word wizard and strategy guru rolled into one. I love diving into the heart of what makes an organization special and crafting messages that resonate with your audience. Whether it's website copy that pops, social media that engages, or marketing strategies that drive results, I've got you.

I write and publish dark psychological thrillers as Sara Ennis, and a fun cozy mystery series as Sara Isabelle. As the publisher, I oversee the entire process from manuscript preparation to sales and marketing.

Make & Curate

Make & Curate provides strategic marketing consulting for small businesses. My services include customer segmentation, content strategy development, social media planning, and email marketing campaign management. I also offer expertise in business plan creation and marketing strategies.

NCMIC

As a marketing strategist for a financial and insurance services company, I developed methods to boost customer retention and enhance audience relationships through tailored programs. 

BOGO Bowl

When you're founder and CEO you wear all the hats. I built a social impact pet food brand with a buy-one-give-one model supporting animal welfare organizations nationwide. I developed partnerships with hundreds of local organizations, managed all aspects of the business including fundraising, product development, marketing, logistics, and administration.
